Нам во 2 сезоне обещали показать больше интерьеров квартиры, т.ч. сможем проверить на сколько здесь всё совпало
дом 221b по Бейкер-стрит в "Шерлоке"BBCЭто не обычный английский дом, что б вы ни думали. Это точно - Тардис.
(иначе как туда вмещается все, что вмещается. и чем еще объяснить всю путаницу с расположением и размерами.)
очень много текста (немного русс. и много англ.) и картинок дом, показанный нам в сериале, как всем известно, в реальном мире находится не на Бейкер-стрит а по Норт Гауэр-стрит, 185 (North Gower Street).

4 этажа. Из которых в фильме мы видим один с половиной.
Почти во всех подробностях нам показывают гостиную и кухню. немного лестницу и прихожую. еще - таинственное "ответвление": некую часть, названную 221-С. (там, в принципе, нормальному человеку невозможно жить - это какое-то полуподвальное помещение с низким потолком. там свихнешься же через неделю. Почему его миссис Хадсон вздумала сдавать как полноценные комнаты? Такие же как 221-В... хотя они между собой вообще несравнимы никак)
Кроме всего этого нам еще говорят что наверху - спальня Джона.
и это вся информация, которую нам открывают о доме на Бейкер-стрит Моффат и Гэтисс. 
Но кроме этих, конечно же, жизненно необходимых помещений, должны в доме быть еще несколько важных комнат, о которых нам ни разу ни слова не сказано и не показано.. Ну что это такое - ни слова про спальню Шерлока! Про спальню Джона сказали, где она может быть - но мы с ним туда так ни разу за все три серии и не поднялись. Вообще, это такое чисто викторианское-пуританское… спальни в доме есть (ведь спать-то где-то нужно) но в спальню нас не пустят ни за что на свете.
Где спит Шерлок – непонятно вообще. (как хотите, но в то, что он как агент Малдер днюет и ночует на диване в гостиной я не верю).
Помнится, видела я теорию, что спальня Шерлока находится на том же этаже, что и гостиная с кухней. Там и дверь за кухней есть… но мне кажется, что теория эта совершенно несостоятельная. Там не комната, а комнатушка какая-то!.. не верю я, в то, что там за кухней есть полноценное помещение. (да и схема стандартного английского дома тоже не располагает к этой теории о спальне за кухней). Я, кстати, понимаю, откуда растут ноги у этого предположения – из того, что представляет собой музей ШХ на Бейкер-стрит. И из сериала с Джереми Бреттом. Именно там как раз и есть спальня Холмса, примыкающая к гостиной. А спальня Уотсона – этажом выше.
Но в сериале ВВС есть одно большое «но» - на месте «спальни Холмса» там – кухня.
Следовательно, раз мы уже делаем такие серьезные перестановки, вовсе не обязательно, чтоб Холмс ютился в коморке за кухней… особенно когда есть весь третий этаж.))
А из слов миссис Хадсон вовсе не следует что на третьем этаже только одна спальня. «Наверху есть еще одна спальня» - говорит она, когда показывает квартиру. Кто мешает думать что и спальня Шерлока там же, наверху? Ничто не противоречит этой теории...Ну не просто ж воздух там, на двух верхних этажах, а?.. И тогда не нужно ютиться в каком-то непонятном помещении крохотных размеров за кухней.
я за то, что обе спальни наверху .
Тем более если обе спальни наверху, то "Шерлоку при случае гораздо легче пробраться в комнату Джона, чем если б они были на разных этажах". Так что, считаю, теория хороша с какой стороны не посмотри)))

я нашла по теме еще 2 статьи с чертежами и планами.
Статьи я стащу себе как есть. Пусть будет тут, а то мало ли…
Если вдруг кто их переведет – буду только рада. (делать перепосты такие как есть, на английском, куда-либо кроме своего дневника, мне кажется не очень верным.
мне же тема интересна просто сама по себе – даже без точного нормального перевода. промт мне был в помощь, когда я это читала))))

A Fan's Guide to 221B

So, some of you may remember a post I did a while back on the layout of 221B (Original Post).
Since then, I've been working on a more accurate version. It's not yet finished, but I have the basic foundation of the flat down. It's still lacking furniture, but unlike my original model, this has the first two floors, so this should help people who were asking about the flat in reference to the street.
In general, the flat seems to fit with what google is telling me about the exterior location. The only thing that's incongruous is the number of storeys.
(the windows actually are three panes across, not two).
The area to the right is Speedy's Snack Bar, the left is the hallway we're familiar with. Under the stairs is the door that leads to 221C (the flat the shoes were found in). I have not modelled this because, well, it's full of enough inconsistencies that I have taken to referring to it as Moriarty's TARDIS with a very strong perception filter. In the back is Mrs. Hudson's place.
number of stairs/pitch of stairs is wrong, but stairs are a pain in the ass to do, so I find myself not caring...
I would point out the window, though. It's clearly an exterior window, but it makes no fucking sense in relation to the rest of the flat. The second flight of stairs leads up to the upstairs bedroom that Mrs. Hudson mentioned, though I don't believe we've ever seen it.
Overview of the flat's layout. Still not sure what's going on in the rooms off from the kitchen, but I assume they're Sherlock's bathroom and bedroom.
Street-facing wall. I think these windows should be fairly accurate in terms of height.
facing away from the street. That funny looking thing on the left is an interior window. It's frosted pretty heavily, but you can see it from both the hall way and inside their flat. Bookshelf height is accurate, though the shelf placement is not (particularly on the far bookshelf, which is missing a shelf to accommodate the television)

Hallway/kitchen. I didn't model the fridge, but it's the box between the box for the door and the window.
Kitchen cabinetry. These shelves are both weirdly angled out. Centre is the stove/oven. To the left is the sink.

ETA: so, my brain finally connected that the behind the scenes would have useful information in my defence, I've not slept a lot lately...
and I noticed a few things. The first is that there's an excellent shot of the kitchen cabinets. I don't think I got anything wrong, but it's probably useful for anybody who wants details for writing.
Okay, the second doesn't actually have to do with the behind the scenes, but I got my dad into the series and was just on the phone with him. Last post, there was discussion on what the white boxy thing was. He (a scientist) thought it looked like an old incubator, which makes sense given its proximity to the microscope, I guess? (also, trust Sherlock to grow bacterial cultures next to where he cooks food...the scientist in me is weeping)
The third, more relevant thing, is that looking at the studio the interior scenes were filmed in dear BBC. I love you guys, but why is such a helpful shot so quick and low-quality? You're killing me..., we have some answers to the flat's layout. Or rather, definitive lack of answers.
The set they show in the behind the scenes does not contain any rooms behind the kitchen (other than the hall). What we see out of the kitchen window is (...idk I'd call it a cyc if we were in a theatre) a piece of taut fabric.
So. Added to my wishlist for next season: shots of the bedrooms.

Layouts for 221B Baker Street (i.e. Sherlock2010 dollhouse project??!)

After reading the wonderful posts by staticlights on the Guide to 221B, it inspired me to do a little SketchUp model of 221B Baker Street using things/furnitures I could find from Google's 3D Warehouse that look similar to what's in the show. To bear in mind, I'd only used objects that I could find, and didn't bother to alter them all to look exactly like in the show, so it is not an accurate account of the film sets. I know, what's the merit of it if it's not accurate? Well, I just considered it a litter fun dollhouse project I do in my spare time and try not to get too obsessive with all the details (really it can't be good to my health while I'm so sleep deprived.)
Also, I wanna try my best to solve the puzzling layout of the 221B Baker Street. Sadly, it hasn't got too far, and I haven't drawn a more valuable conclusion than staticlights already had. Anyhoo, I put up some screen-caps from my model here, and try to explain some of the mysteries that have frustrated me, in hope of maybe finding some enlightenment here. However, they are really trivia problems, maybe people really shouldn't waste their time reading my words.

Mystery No.1 -- Sherlock's bedroom
In reality, it was filmed in 185 North Gower Street. From the views of Google Earth, the buildings have four storeys and the one that's supposed to be 221B has no extension on the back. Therefore, it's really mind-boggling as to why would they have to add the extension at the back of the kitchen showed on the first floor that is probably meant to be **Sherlock's bedroom?**, while there're plenty of rooms to make a proper bedroom for Sherlock.
Another problem here is that 221C really shouldn't exist because there's no space for its basement window since it's positioned directly underneath the shop (Speedy's Cafe.)
OK, I've got it wrong. It can share the light well on the left side of the entrance of 221B and a tiny window can be fitted there. So technically, 221C can be done. And yes, it will be a horrible room, haha.
Mystery No.2 -- The really thick party wall.
The party wall to the right is thick enough to have recessed bookcases and fireplace on one side, which could make it around 350mm in depth (and it's quite a reasonable number.) However, as we move to the side of the kitchen, the cabinet in-between is really posited farther right which leave tighter gaps between its edge and the corner in the show, yet the edge of the kitchen worktop showed adjacent to the edge of the cabinet/screen-doors, given the fact that kitchen worktop is normally at least 600mm in depth, the numbers just don't add up (align.)
I don't think I can explain this well enough in words. My guess, in simple terms, is that this party wall is simply not aligned on both side, and it has eaten away a few hundreds millimeters into the adjacent apartment on the side of the kitchen.
So I'd made a scrabbled version of the plans to suggest a more reasonable layout for 221B Baker Street. (Really, there's no need for the extension since it would be inevitably blocking one of the windows on the back, and a party wall shouldn't invade other flats for space.)
OK, enough about my whining here (really, it's the architect in me doing all these silly things :-)) , now to the more joyful part of this project, which is to make gorgeous INTERIOR SHOTS!!! And I had enormous fun in finding all those objects representing Sherlock's and John's characters, making the mad little lab space in the kitchen 8DDDDD. (Srsly, I've got things like eyeball/skeleton/John's Sig from 3D Warehouse, how wonderful those ppl are for sharing their lovely models!!! <3 <3 <3 )
Well, I would also like to share my model in 3D Warehouse once my internet connection is working better. Meanwhile, I'd uploaded them to MF for anyone who would like to download the SketchUp model and have their fun with it. Oh, and for anyone who's interested in the silly little chemistry laboratory I put together in the kitchen, sorry it's not in the 221b model cos it slows down the rotation so much. I've put it in a separated file for download. Cheers!! ))

Самое логичное - засунуть её на второй этж или даже на третий, если планировка комнат второго этажа не будет способствовать возникновению спальни Шерлока.
